Story
Gurrunguna - Emu Feathers, Mawirr - String, Wurrugu - Neck possession. All language used is in Ngiyampaa.
The emu feathers used, were collected from Ngiyampaa country by a senior Ngiyampaa Knowledge holder. The feathers have been carefully glued into gum nuts, collected by Maddy in Yengo National Park and on Darkinyung country.
Mt Yengo is the place from which our creation ancestor, jumped back up into he sky after he had created all of the mountains, lakes, rivers and caves in the area. He flattened the top of Mt Yengo when he jumped and the flat top is still visible today.
