Story
Gurrunguna - emu feathers + Wudhugu- ear possession. All language used is in Ngiyampaa.
The emu feathers used, were hand collected from Ngiyampaa country. The feathers have been carefully glued into gum nuts, collected by Maddy from different areas, including Yengo National Park and on Darkinyung country.
Mt Yengo is the place from which our creation ancestor, jumped back up into he sky after he had created all of the mountains, lakes, rivers and caves in the area. He flattened the top of Mt Yengo when he jumped and the flat top is still visible today.
