STORY
When I was painting this, I thought of all the women around me and those old women before me. I feel their happiness when I’m speaking my language, making songs and going bush. Their strength and knowledge is carried onto me continuously.
This painting depicts women dancing, strong and connected as one, because that’s how I feel when I’m dancing with my sisters.
